Alfred V. Romani

WINDERMERE, FL. – Alfred V. Romani, 94, of Windermere, FL., formerly of Albany, passed away in Florida on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Louis and Mary (Marcucci) Romani. Al was predeceased by his wife, Mary Cooke Romani and his fiancé Patricia A. Burgess.

He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and RPI. Al was an only child and cherished his time caring for his mother. He enjoyed her homemade pasta. Al was a civil engineer with New York State Department of Transportation for thirty-five years, retiring in 1987.

Al is the cousin of Claude (Eleanor) Romani. He is also survived by his brother in laws Paul and Craig Cooke; Patricia’s daughters, Kathy (Gary) Hotaling and Donna (Bradley) Schwebler. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
