Albert J. Dibella

ALBANY – Albert J. DiBella, 71, of Albany, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, October 01, 2021. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Albert S. and Anne Battisto DiBella.

Bert served in the US Navy Seabees as a draftsman. He had worked for General Electric Company for several years before starting his own business, Shades of Green Landscaping. Bert also worked at the Albany Airport and at Crossgates Restaurant. He was a Civil War buff, a Buffalo Bills fan and a man of tremendous faith. Bert was an outdoorsman, enjoying trout fishing and camping. He will be dearly missed.

Albert is the devoted father of Chad A. DiBella and Beth M. DiBella. He is the brother of Michael (Lorri) DiBella, Stephen (Karen) DiBella and Robert (Marcia) DiBella. Bert is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He cherished his feline companion, Tuki.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bert’s family on Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 12:30 at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Saratoga National VA Cemetery.
