Agnes C. Molitor, 99, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in the comfort of her home being cared for by family and loved ones. She was born on January 12, 1926, in Albany, NY.
Daughter of the late Ignatius and Caroline Hoefer, she was predeceased by sisters Marguerite, Ann, and brother Edward. Agnes is survived by sister Jean (Walter) Nyfeler of Ghent NY. She is survived by her children Amy Courter, John (Christie) Molitor, Jean (Mark) Hill and James (Joan) Molitor; Grandchildren Jason (Beth) Courter, Keith (Michelle) Molitor, Nicholas and Michael Hill; Great grandsons Brodyn Courter and Ethan Molitor and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Agnes was a graduate of St. Vincentian Institute class of 1944, went on to work in accounting dept. at Tobin’s First Prize. She was married in May 1952 to Frederick J. Molitor Jr. until his passing in March 2014.
Agnes was a thoughtful, caring person who enjoyed time with her family, bird watching, gardening, puzzles and taking bus trips with her beloved husband Fred.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 am at the St. Pius X Chapel, prior to Mass. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
