ALBANY – From Labor to Reward on January 9, 2021 Adaya Thomas was ushered into the presence of the Lord. She was born August 29,1987 to Cynitha Miller and Andrew Thomas at Albany Medical Center. Adaya was educated in the Albany Public School System where she was loved by many. Due to her many health challenges Adaya was unable to work and used that time to spend with family and enjoy family gatherings. Adaya loved people and had such a kind spirit that when you came in contact with her it made you love her. Adaya was truly an Angel here on Earth.Adaya loved her pets and had a passion for animals.
She leaves to Cherish her loving memory her mother Cynitha Miller, her siblings Ebony (Miller) King, Shameeka Thomas, Jawanna Thomas, Tamesia (Thomas) Shropshire, Andrew Miller, Jamar Thomas, Kenja Thomas, Jamithy Thomas, Raymond Earl Miller, Quameire Miller and Quameesha Price. Grandfather Joe Lee Thomas. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Adaya was predeceased in death by her son Lakai Thomas-Green, her father Andrew Thomas, her sister Tynisha Thomas, Maternal grandmother Mary Ella Grate, Maternal Grandfather Raymond Earl Miller, Paternal Grandmother Virgie Lee Thomas, Aunts Ella Marie Miller, Josephine Thomas, Kathleen Thomas, and her uncle Louis Thomas.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12 noon at The Lord’s House of Deliverance Baptist Church, 298 St. Agnes Hwy, Cohoes. Visitation from 11 to 12 at the Church.
