ALBANY - Paul Raymond Finn aka “The Big Kahuna”, 66, died Wednesday January 06, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 3, 1954 in Albany to Raymond and Rosemary Finn.

Paul was a loving and dutiful husband to his wife Tracy and they were together for over 30 years. He is the devoted father of Eric, Rachael, Brian (Rebecca), Jennifer (John), Allison, Steven, Kayla and Devin. Paul is the brother of Patricia (Timothy) Stevens, Gail (Anthony) Jones, Barbara (James) Spring and John Finn (Deno). He is the grandfather of Lochlain, Evelyn and David. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Paul was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School, Cardinal McCloskey and SUNY Albany. He enjoyed his retirement after working many years at the Albany County Department of Social Services. He loved the beach and was known to many as the “Big Kahuna”. Paul spent his childhood vacationing in Cape Cod and later spent summers in Hampton Beach with his family. He loved cooking, reading, history, music, comic books, drawing and being the funniest man in the room. Paul was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Paul’s family on Sundayfrom 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 3:00pm at the funeral home. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
