George W. Hans Iii

Mr. George W. Hans, III, 76, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 23rd. He was born November 11, 1945 to the late George W. Jr. and Madelyn Hans.

George was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran and served his country in the Vietnam War.

He has been a happily retired resident of Laguna Beach for over 20 years after retiring from a life of real estate in both Albany, NY and Panama City Beach, FL. He enjoyed meeting so many people through his rental properties and making friends every time he entered a room.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Dennis (Christina) Hans, and David Hans; his grandchildren, Heather, Zachary (Shannon), and Dylan Hans; and he was so excited about his great-granddaughter that is on the way. He also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, great-nieces and nephews, extended family, friends that were family, and everyone that called him their own “Grandpa George”.

George is preceded in death by his beloved brother Raymond “Mikey” Hans.

The family will be having calling hours from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, January 14 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie.
